Sexual Health

Abstinence from sexual activity doesn’t mean you’ll never have sex. It just means postponing sexual activity until you’re married. Abstinence is the only sure method to avoid pregnancy or contracting an STI. Abstinence has social, emotional, spiritual, and health gains to be realized when you wait until marriage to engage in sexual activity. If you don’t want to put yourself at risk, then abstinence is your best choice.

Sexually transmitted Infections (STI)

It’s estimated that in this year alone, almost 9 million American teens will contract an STI. If you’ve ever had sex, there’s a chance you could have an STI even if you don’t experience symptoms since it is possible to be infected by one without knowing it. If you have had sex, we strongly recommend you get tested since even the STIs that show no symptoms will affect you in some way.
